Women to Watch: Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Spotlight

Grace James

Say hello to Grace James! Grace is the marketing genius behind some of your favorite artists like Lizzo, Missy Elliot, Pink Sweat$, Tayla Parx, and Hamilton! She has served as the Senior Vice President at Atlantic Records since 2017.

"My entire roster features artists who blend genres, and I love this challenge as a marketer. Artists shouldn't be pigeon-holed into one type of music because of their catalog or their skin tone. By the way, fans don't listen to one kind of music either."

Caroline Yim

How many people can say they've been named in Billboard's Women in Music power list from 2015-2018? Caroline Yim can. She is currently a partner and co-head of WME's Hip-Hop and R&B team. In 2020 Caroline also co-founded the Asian American Collective, "a collective of Dope Asians in music, media, entertainment, and creative spaces."
